How Summer vacation be utilized

We have collected different opinion from students and other people who are giving several creative as well as skill oriented activities: Let us read out options:

Being a nature lover, I like majestic mountains ranges. I am from the field of adventure tour. We have a platform namely NATIONAL ADVENTURE SPORTS ACADEMY that organises different Trekking, Rock Climbing, Rapplling, River Crossing, Para gliding, Para Sailing, Ballooning, River Rafting, Water Surfing, Jungle Camp, Bracelet making, Blind rope, Spider web, Riffle shooting, Commando game, Eco walk, Bird watching etc. throughout the year in all parts of India. These programmes promote the spirit of adventure and channelize the energy in the most constructive direction and to bring the youth in direct contact with hardships and learn the means to over come them provided in by nature and of course life.

Mrs.Charu Sanan-Director-Sanskar -A Centre for dance, music, art and yoga.The children can learn dance-traditional & western, vocal and instrumental music, meditation and yoga. These art can raise the entire personality of the children. Even, if a student take such activities seriously, he/she can flourish in this field too.

Mr.S.K.Yadav-Founder-Dwarka Shotokan Karate Club .In modern times, self-defence is the need of the hour. Female should learn Karate for their safety and dignity. Our club has recently starting Karate training at The Indian Height School, Sector-23, Dwarka. This is the first world class wooden floor centre where three months special self-defence programme has started. Although, the club is already running training centre at Dwarka Health Club, Sector-7, Gold Field School, Sector-10 & D.D.A.Sports Complex, Sector-11.Summer vacations are very favourite and important for children. Every year they are keenly waiting for the vacations. Some children want to spend their vacations on any Hill Station, some wants to go to their Home Town and some want to visit their relatives' home.I like to go for picnic with my friends and teachers. Previously, I watched Tare Zamin Par & Gol movies with my class mates. Our school is taking us to Adventure Island , there we'll enjoy different rides, water games etc.

Krishna -VIII-R.D.Rajpal Public School, Dwarka.I wish to visit new places and meet people with different culture in summer vacation. I want to spend my holidays.


Shivam-II- I like to visit amusement parks, children park and watch movies with my friends and parents.

Akshansh -VI-A-D.A.V. School, Dwarka - Holidays are the most important period in students life. Summer vacation are jack pot for us because just after the annual exams and result everyone feels relaxed.


Sakshi -IX-A, Mira Model School, DelhiDuring, summer vacation, first of all, we should finish our holidays home work. Side by side, we can join hobby classes, there we can learn different creative arts, language classes, computer courses, theatre, Photography, dance, play with musical instruments, cooking, indoor games like chess, carom, ludo, T.T., outdoor games like basketball, volleyball, cricket, Judo, Karate, football, Lawn Tennis, adventure sports etc. We should join different NCC and other camps which are organized by our school during holidays. I like to explore the Himalayan region particularly during summer holidays because the hilly regions are cool. We can rather protect ourselves from the unbearable heat of Delhi. I'm lucky enough to find countless opportunities with my parents to visit several places of India right from my early childhood.

Renu , student of 10th standard says, "I am very happy that summer vacations are very near. Only 1 month is left after that I'll go to my maternal grand mother's home in Agra and I'll spend the whole vacations over there." On asking why she doesn't want to go on any Hill station, she quickly replied with a smile," I'll feel more happiness in the lap of my grand mom….rather than on the chilly ice of any hill station. And yes I love to play in the green agricultural land of the village and trees of mango over there."Simran, student of 5th standard says, " I would like to spend my summer vacations in the cool and chilly ice mountains of Vaishno Devi. Because of two reasons 1st for religiously and 2nd for coolness.
According Mr.S.S.Makhija-Principal, the D.A.V. School , Sector-6,"We are organising summer camp with different activities like aerobics, English coversation, Art and craft, Cursive writing, Rhymes & story telling, classical & western dance, instrumental music, calligraphy, Information Technology, Badminton etc. under the guidance of Ms.Alka Narula -Activity Coordinator. Ashu , student of 3rd standard and Shubhangi, student of 9th standard have same views. Both of them want to go to any Hill station like Manali or Masoori to enjoy their summer vacations fully. Shubham , student of 4th standard have very simple views as far as his summer vacations are concerned because he doesn't want to go any where. He just wants to stay at home and wants to play in the park near by his area.
